1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the eSafeGuards learning platform (the "Service") operated by eSafeguards Consulting Inc. ("eSafeGuards", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current information at registration and to update it as needed.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or infringing purpose.
• Upload or distribute malware, viruses, or any malicious or harmful code.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, another user's account, or our systems.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute course content, videos, or materials except as permitted.
• Harass, abuse, or impersonate any other user.

Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account.

4. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All course content, videos, text, graphics, logos, and software on the Service are owned by eSafeGuards or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access enrolled courses for your personal, non-commercial learning. You may not reproduce, redistribute, broadcast, record, or publicly display course content without written permission.

5. Account-Sharing Restrictions

Your account is for your individual use. You may not share, transfer, sell, or sublicense your login credentials or grant others access to content you have enrolled in. Each enrolled user must purchase their own access. We may monitor for account-sharing activity and may suspend accounts found to be shared. Concurrent logins or playback from multiple devices or locations may be flagged.

6. Payments

Some courses require payment. Payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment provider. Your card details are handled solely by Stripe and are never stored on our servers. Course access is granted after successful payment. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds and cancellations.

7. Course Content & No Warranty

Course content is provided for educational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice. We strive for accuracy but do not warrant that content is error-free, complete, or current. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to access content ceases, except as required by law.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
